I'm a fullstack developer with more than ten years experience of remote work in distributed teams. Currently I live in Dalarna, Sweden. I am happy to work as a consultant or as an employee. I prefer a shortened workweek of maximum 75%. As consultant I preferably take on longer duration contracts (> 3 months). These days I mainly do: Frontend: TypeScript React (next.js), on the Vercel platform Backend: Python (django) development with PostgreSQL on AWS (ECS, RDS) CD/CI: GitHub action and pipelines that, on top of deliver the code to where it needs to go, integrates with apps like slack and Atlassian solutions. I am also comfortable on Ubuntu servers, handling user access and such. Even though I consider myself a fullstack developer, I do think I am frontend-leaning. I consider mysel to have a nack for finding usability issues early in the process, and the ability to look at problems from a different perspective enabling me to find novel solutions that will help move the application forward. I believe end user experience is the most important thing, so my aim is to deliver a solid user experience that I would enjoy to use myself. Apart from this I consider myself to be a pragmatic and an artisan. I like when things are getting done, but not if the end result is lacking. I like to learn new things. I enjoy watch things grow. I also consider my self a hippie. On a personal side I define myself as a person who makes music (not a musician – there's a difference).
