Joe Kohl has been a cartoonist/illustrator since 1972. His work has appeared worldwide on books, greeting cards, book covers, advertisements, billboards, POP (Point Of Purchase) displays, magazines, tee shirts and mugs. Joe's work has been published in most major national magazines and periodicals which print cartoons and/or humorous illustrations including Reader's Digest, National Enquirer, Saturday Evening Post, New Woman, Good Housekeeping, Complete Woman, The Rotarian, Forbes, Writer's Digest, The Artist's Magazine, Marriage Partnership, The Wittenburg Door, The Toastmaster, Woman's Own, Saturday Review, Penthouse, First for Women, Woman's World, Punch, Medical Economics, True, Swank, Perdido, The Elks Magazine, Mature Years, The Madison Avenue Handbook, Genesis, Hustler, Chic, Woman, VFW Magazine, Funny Times, Diversion, books in the "Chicken Soup for The Soul" series, medical journals in the United States and Canada, USA Weekend and many others. Joe has illustrated numerous books including self help, humor, E.S.L, psychology, health, golf, finance, joke, educational, texts, children's books and travel guides. Greeting card companies Joe has created for include American Greetings, Marian Heath, Nobleworks, Recycled Paper Greetings, Comstock, Rockshots, Oz, American Art Enterprises, Novo Cards, Argus Paper Products, Carolyn Bean, TLC, Current, Magic Moments, Freedom Greetings, Designer Greetings, Paramount, Paper Rainbow, Smart Alex and Gallant Greetings. Joe has also written concepts for Hallmark and Current as well as those listed above. Joe's cartoons and artwork are available for books, licensing (i.e. calendars, mugs, magnets, tee shirts, greeting cards, etc.) and for individual magazine use in either b&w or color format.
