Joesten was established during 1990 starting off as a company maintaining scraper winches for the platinum and gold mining industry. Since then the Joesten Group has developed from a company operating from a small mini factory to owning its own 2 500 sqm factory employing sixty people. The Joesten Group of Companies consists of a gear cutting concern, scraper winch manufacturing company, property company and an international import and export company dealing in high precision, high speed turbo gears, pumps for the chemical industry, screen changers and pelletizers. Joesten International is the preferred supplier in Southern Africa of RENK-MAAG, high-speed, high-technology gearboxes and couplings for turbo machines and marine applications, as well as MAAG Pumps, screen changers and pelletizers for the oil, chemical and plastics industry. Today, Joesten is acknowledged as a reliable supplier of high-quality imported and locally manufactured products supported by a team of experienced and knowledgeable people.
