John Dau Foundation

The John Dau Foundation is a non-profit based in upstate New York and led by a dynamic refugee, John Dau. He has inspired business and non-profit leaders to help him establish the Foundation and create the first comprehensive & sustainable community medical clinic in his home village of Duk Payuel. Called the Duk Lost Boys Clinic, it has been in operation since 2007 and served more than people for a range of illnesses. Since its founding, John has been a driving force behind the great progress in bringing modern healthcare to South Sudan. His innovative leadership has brought about cost-effective, reliable, and high-quality healthcare to Duk County, South Sudan. JDF in the U.S. operates a "virtual office" with a mix of part-time staff and volunteers, which helps keep our overhead costs down.
