John Msafiri Design Architecture

Our design process is the expression of the dialogue between client and the designers; a willingness to explore endless possibilities with the realisation that there is never a single answer or solution. Rather, there is the elegant solution, the one that delights and satisfies.@John Msafiri | design+Architecture, we attempt to design our projects having in mind the context they sit in not only from a sustainable and energy efficient point of view, but also from an urban perspective considering how it can contributes to making a better city. We analyse SPACE, CONTEXT to which our projects are located through PHENOMENA OF PLACE, SENSE OF PLACE and lastly it's eventual TRANSFORMATION. The team strives to question more than answer in their quest to design spaces that create a sense of transparency between the interior and exterior environments. All of our designs focus on the seamless integration between the built and natural environment, while remaining faithful to historic roots (Contextual-ism) and responding sensitively to the surrounding cultural context transforming.
