John Ware Research Group, Inc

John Ware Research Group, Inc.(JWRG) is a privately held company founded in 2009 by John E. Ware, Jr, PhD to continue his grant-sponsored innovations research to improve patient reported outcomes (PRO) tools used in population health surveys and clinical research worldwide. JWRG maintains its offices in the Worcester Biotech Park, home of the Massachusetts Biotech Initiative (MBI) adjacent to the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) and UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus. JWRG collaborates closely with both MBI and UMMS, and its affiliated medical centers. Our mission is to standardize health metrics so that population surveys and studies of treatment outcomes can be compared and to make information more useful in improving the quality of health care. Specific aims-Identify a core profile of health domains -Establish comparable data collection methods -Cross-calibrate metrics so that results can be compared -Provide guidelines that establish what is important -Make tools available for scholarly research
