Johnson Security Bureau, Inc. is the longest running Black-owned private security services firm in New York State and among the longest running Black-owned firms in the United States. Johnson Security Bureau was founded in 1962 and has provided professional security, transport, guard, patrol and protective services for over fifty-eight years. The founders, Wilbert and Dorothy Johnson, leveraged their experiences from civil service jobs as a patrolman and guidance counselor, respectively, to make the firm a success. As a third-generation, family-owned and operated firm, and presently woman-owned and operated firm, Johnson Security Bureau maintains an impeccable record of success providing its clients with greater peace of mind.
