Join the Cast, works with influential stakeholders to strategically explore and employ inventive platforms to integrate the usefulness of every form of communication tools to progressively implement well-rounded community-based projects to contribute to the realization of the MDGs and SDGs. We look at the world, find problems and develop solutions – in our own little way. We find new ways to raise awareness, increase outreach and facilitate collaboration. We inspire and empower people affected by social issues and we want our efforts to create a ripple effect that will motivate and task every arm of existence to find sustainable ways to address them. Join the Cast in 2013 executed its first project; a malaria initiative in partnership with ace veteran comedian, Alibaba GCFR. Since inception, this platform has facilitated the provision of FREE Rapid Diagnostic Testing (RDT), FREE Artemisilin-based Combination Therapy (ACT) treatments, counselling – and – distribution of long-lasting insecticide treated bed nets and insecticides to more than 14, people across Nigeria – through monthly malaria outreach programmes carried out in rural areas, markets and schools among other places – and – a novelty match platform leveraging the power of entertainment and football to attract more people to the cause.
