Jolanta Nejman

Jolanta Nejman is a small studio creating unique product to cater to tourist and visitor to the local area. We use research and local knowledge to focus our visual design on the casual and professional visitor who is after a souvenir and memory of their stay to Orange. We design product like greeting cards, tea towels and publications that highlight the history, activities and local landmarks unique to the area. The aim is to create a visual message that is modern and attractive and which avoids the usual visual cliche of the tourist souvenir. You will not find kangaroos or koala images on our product instead we focus on what the local area is best at or best known for and develop our design on promoting those unique features. Our aim is to promote visually the quality and variety the area has to offer. Our product is sold in and around Orange as well as on our website, our aim is to help promote the area in a unique and modern way. We hope to create a model which can be adapted to other local areas around Australia. Though we try to manufacture locally, when this is not economical we source Australia wide for quality manufacturers. We are working on new ideas, as well as adjusting, improving and expanding the design of existing product. Our next project is a book about Orange which will highlight the history and the present growth of the area and on the drawing table are bread boards made of local timber and crafted in-house.
