Open Source Software is the platform we use to build and deploy Information Technology systems. We use Open Source Software because it promotes sharing and collaboration, and because licensing costs to use Open Source software is zero cost. This allows for more cost effective development and implementation of Information Technology projects, allowing scarce resources to be redirected to the IT Manpower used for development. Jose Quesada Information Technology Consulting (JQITC) was formed as a means to bring industry closer to academe in order to harness the skills and talents of the students and graduates of Asia Pacific College. It was in the light of continuing project development that CS Foundation stepped in to fund chosen projects under APC for Government and Non Government Agencies. Together with Asia Pacific College and CS Foundation, JQITC is able to build and deploy cost effective Information Technology systems using Open Source software.
