Joshua Aronson Studios, Llc

Josh Aronson (American, b. 1994) is a photographer whose intimate images act as insight into the politics of youth culture today. Working across portraiture, fine art, documentary reportage and fashion photography, he portrays youth in tropical and naturally lit settings. In 2017, at the age of 23, Aronson became one of the youngest photographers to publish portraits in The New York Times for Tyler Mitchell’s appearance in the Style section. In 2018 he opened his first solo presentation at the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts in Russia. In 2019 his first American solo exhibition, titled I Thought About Posting This, opened at Congruent Space Gallery in Chicago. In addition to his exhibitions, Aronson regularly creates photographs for fashion, beauty and editorial clientele, including The New York Times, Dior, Teen Vogue and others. He has spoken on the politics of youth culture to a number of publications including Document Journal, Vogue Italia and i-D. He is based in Brooklyn, New York.
