JourniDock was founded on the principle, that there is a safer and more convenient way to travel with our phones, iPads and gadgets. JourniDock is a unique automotive docking station for electronic devices and can be set up as a customized mobile office in your vehicle. History The concept for JourniDock was created during a crisis moment in 2008. The inventor of JourniDock was driving on the highway, when he suddenly had to slam hard on the brakes. Everything, including his phone, his papers, and his pens flew forward onto the floorboard in front of the passengers seat. Shortly thereafter, his phone started ringing and soon he was ducking and reaching to grab it. After a near crash, he said “there must be another way,” and the JourniDock idea was born. Through years of design change and experimentation, we created a simple and elegant solution for getting organized in a vehicle. JourniDock features a clipboard for holding papers and notepads, and an organizer for pens, pencils, and loose change. We built JourniDock with a unique system for docking a GPS, smartphone, and/or tablet computer in a convenient, safe and secure way.
