OUR HISTORY Our roots go back to 1959, when Karl Landgrebe founded KLN in Niedenstein near Kassel (Germany). From the early days on, KLN was focused on serving military vehicle manufacturers as well as the German armed forces and its allies with reliable, durable and cost effective solutions. Over the years, the company developed into a leading manufacturer and refurbishment provider for components and systems of military vehicles. In 1986, JOWA Fahrzeugteile Vertriebs GmbH was set up to complement the activities of KLN. Since then, JOWA and KLN have manufactured and refurbished a broad range of components and systems for market-leading land system platforms such as the MBT Leopard 2, the PzH and the Marder. In 2023, JOWA and KLN were taken over by Volkmar Noeske as part of a succession solution. Both companies have been continuously developed ever since, and are now operating under the umbrella JOWA-KLN Holding GmbH.
