Ellen Jones has been creating art and beauty for others to enjoy for her whole life. She is an honors graduate from East Stroudsburg State University in PA majoring in Fine Arts. Together with her husband Ken, they've raised three very creative children and reside in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Ellen is a Christian born in Pennsylvania who has created art since the time she could hold a crayon. She paints with passion and bright colors to express the joy that is in her heart. “I take a child like approach to my paintings in that if I like an image, I paint it. I don't worry if I have the skill or how it’s going to come out, I just start doing it and leave the rest up to God.” She founded Shades of Grace Visual Arts Ministry and Bethel Gallery located at Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church where she was the director for seven years. During that time, she developed 48 themed exhibits for artists to display their work. The artists also participated in art classes, workshops, open studio and field trips. Ellen was commissioned for the acquisition and placement of over 600 pieces of artwork for a major company building in Northeast Florida. She was charged with decorating several commercial and residential facilities. Ellen has received numerous commissions, been displayed in the Beaches Museum & Historical Center, juried shows, corporations, and Churches."No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him."~ 1 Corinthians 2:9
