Mark Stier has over 30 years of business management experience predominantly in the Pharmaceutical industry. Mark has served in a advisory capacity for needs in leadership, finance, business development. Mark took Whitehouse Laboratories from $7.1M to $11.1M in two years and sold the company for $54M in cash. From 2013-2018 he has return 20%+ top and bottom line results. Mark has worked for companies with 5 to 1,600 employees. From an Operating perspective Mark has had full P&L accountability with a proven track record of success on the top and bottom line. In addition Mark has had success in portfolio management, including product launches and clinical development, from product selection to life cycle management. Extensive FDA, SEC and SOX compliance expertise, supply chain management and business development management including merger and acquisition work, significant cost efficiency work and a full working knowledge of information technology. Mark has an international background with Cambrex working in Ireland, Italy, England and Sweden where the company had manufacturing sites. Mark has worked in public companies (Keryx and Alpharma), private owner held (Whitehouse and Halo) and venture capital held (Reliant). In each of the public companies, Mark had roles in business unit reporting to the board and audit and compensation committees. Mark has been involved in multiple acquisitions (Cambrex and Halo) and divestitures (Alpharma). Mark has been involved in raising funds for Reliant and Alpharma. Mark’s experience includes supply chain management, manufacturing, marketing and sales, human resources, legal – licensing deals and contract construction, research and development which included product selection and analysis of analytical development chemist time and investment compared to return on investment. Mark has been the CIO in several companies implementing ERP systems and quality systems. Mark is well versed in cGMP requirements, FDA audit requirements and DEA compliance.
