ABOUT JQ MOTORS J.Q. Motors Ltd. was formerly the Automotive Division of J.Q. Charles Ltd. which was established in 1967. Originally the franchise owner of British Leyland, the company went on to secure the Mitsubishi franchise in the mid nineteen seventies and has successfully provided the people of St. Lucia with the products, services and after sales resources of the Mitsubishi brand since then. In October of 2004, the company was radiated from J.Q. Charles Ltd, incorporated, and is now a 100% owned subsidiary of the J.Q. Charles Group of Companies. After many years of operating Mitsubishi as the sole vehicle option from our company, J.Q. Motors Ltd. obtained the distributorship for all General Motors brands for St. Lucia in late 2006 and commenced fully franchised sales and support operations for Chevrolet in March of 2007. The company currently fields 17 models of cars and light commercial vehicles across the Mitsubishi and Chevrolet brands, and a number of other models within the Fuso brand of vehicles. In the third quarter of 2008, J.Q. Motors Ltd. acquired the rights for importation and distribution of Audi in St. Lucia and promptly commenced sales in December of 2008. This premium brand completes the line-up and model range that J.Q. Motors has strived to be able to provide its customers in an ever more sophisticated automotive market. Audi tops the range of product options available from the company by providing a further 8 models with a variety of engine types within each range, and places J.Q. Motors firmly in the premium class segment of vehicle and service offerings. The staff, management and directors of J.Q.
