JRI-Poland (Jewish Records Indexing - Poland) is a non-profit organization that aims to collect, index and make accessible online, all of the surviving Jewish vital records from Poland. These vital records include birth, marriage, and death records, and many other types of records such as synagogue records, cemetery records, census records, and more. The organization was founded in 1995 by Stanley Diamond and has since grown to become one of the most important resources for genealogical research on Jewish families from Poland. The JRI-Poland database contains over 6 million records and is continually being updated with new records as they are discovered and indexed. JRI-Poland is an independent non-profit tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
