JSA Loss Consulting Services was formed in 1985 as Jacobs Smit & Associates by two Civil Engineers with both Construction and Insurance Broking experience - with the objective of providing an effective and specialist construction claims evaluation service to the Insurance Industry. JSA as it stands today have dealt with a wide variety of engineering disciplines: Roads and bridges. Dams and weirs. Structural concrete and steel work. Lateral support and piling. Electrical reticulation. Pipelines and pump stations. Fuel installations and refineries. Process plants, Industrial & Commercial industries, Building, etc. Risk surveys and Dilapidation surveys are also undertaken prior to project startup.
