Jsc Quadra - Power Generation

The Joint Stock Company "Quadra – Power Generation"(JSC "Quadra – Power Generation") is one of Russia's largest territorial generating companies (TGCs), which was created during the reform of RAO "UES of Russia" and registered on 20 April 2005 (the company's name was JSC "TGC-4" before 18 May 2010). The company was created on the basis of thermal generating capacities and thermal grid assets of regional "energo" joint-stock companies in 11 regions of the Central Federal District. The production assets of JSC "Quadra – Power Generation" are located in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov and Tula Regions. The main types of activity of JSC "Quadra – Power Generation" are production and sale of electricity on the wholesale electricity and capacity market, and production, transportation and sale of thermal energy on the retail market. The company meets 25% of needs of the Central Federal District consumers in thermal energy. The total area of regions of the company's presence is 372.3 thousand sq. km; the total population exceeds 14 million people. The structure of JSC "Quadra – Power Generation" includes 23 power plants, 304 heating plants, and heat pipes of 5,764.3 km in total length. The total installed electric capacity of the company is 3,620.2 MW; the total installed thermal capacity is 14,369.1 Gcal/h.
