We identified a gap in continuity in the agri-business value chain whereby the hides/skins, which are a byproduct of the meat industry were either discarded or sold after partial processing. Thus, we endeavored to improve the value of this bi-product while also considering the market niche, which resulted in our engagement in the production of leather footwear and leather articles. Currently, we manufacture high standard leather products including men shoes, women sandals, belts, and key holders. The leather used is a variety of hair-on and plain leather from cattle, sheep, and goats, as well as fish leather for product decoration.
