Previous Expeditions / Assignments: • Jungle expedition to form partnerships between tribal chiefs & members of 3 remote Wounaan Indian tribes in the Darien Gap Jungle & USA non-profit. • Provided Military Police security at Red Cross shelters while deployed w/ TX State Guard for Hurricane Katrina & Rita. • Volunteered in Jerusalem as an assistant medic on the Magen David Adom Ambulances & on Hatzolah motorscooter first responder unit. Also assisted Jeep Patrol Security on the fence in a West Bank Settlement & w/ the fire department. • Coordinated patient flow & medical triage operations in Spanish to local civilians receiving medical treatment in Operation Lone Star 2006 on the TX / MX border. • Completed 7-day Amazon Jungle Marathon 220+KM. Toughest Foot Race on Earth. Jungle Marathon is an unsupported foot race (extreme ultra-marathon) through the Brazilian Amazon Jungle. • Jungle Wilderness Medic for 2009 Jungle Marathon; extreme 7-day ultra-marathon through the Amazon. • Water filtration & groundwater scientific research of arsenic in the groundwater supply in a village in Nepal. • NASA Planetary Field Volcanology Workshop participant. • Crew Engineer/XO for Crew 78, Commander for Crew 84 & 97 of the Mars Desert Research Station, a scientific research expedition.
