HomeIQ, founded in May 2016, is funded by a group of private investors. The founders and initial engineering team all came from Liverail (sold to Facebook in August 2014) and have worked together for nearly a decade. Jules, powered by HomeIQ, is the only online service to provide homeowners (and the businesses that support their homes) a broad set of capabilities never before available. Each unique Jules service leverages a large data repository of information about the home, the property stored in the home and the personal information of its residents. Homeowners use this data in their daily lives and can share some of it with others – from maintenance crews and repair professionals, to insurance brokers and real estate agents. Mobile access to all this information empowers homeowners to spend less time dealing with the drudgery of managing home life and allows service companies to run their businesses more profitably. With Jules, the whole residential eco-system benefits from a new approach to home life management.
