JumpKick is a satirical crowdfunding platform that aims to provide financial support for those who may or may not deserve it. Our goal has always been to connect people with a variety of causes and projects that they didn't know they should care about, and together, we hope to change lives around the world through the power of online, tax-deductible donations. You can put your trust in our team, just as you can put your trust in every JumpKick fundraiser. The idea for a satirical crowdfunding platform was born when JumpKick co-founder, Erin McLaughlin, created a real campaign for her deviated septum surgery. As a comedy writer, she decided to write the campaign in a satirical tone, which immediately inspired the idea for a satirical crowdfunding site. Erin brought this idea to writing partner Peter Clark-Deutsch, and together, they created JumpKick in March 2020. We hope that the spirit of her false preconceptions that nose surgery would solve all of her problems lives on through satire.
