JSU is a non-profit business that is available to assist individuals and their families with supportive services. This organization has developed a very simple program that is designed to provide clients with tremendous opportunities to turn homeless situations into home ownership in just three short years. JSU assists all clients by providing wrap-around service programs that strengthen them from the inside out. Our proven strategy has already assisted many individuals and families in moving forward during what has been considered tough economic times. The mission of JumpStart University (JSU) is to meet the dire and prevalent needs of members of the community by providing educational services and programs that move them towards home ownership, while at the same time, prevent broken families and homelessness. Specifically, JSU programs provide seminars, classes, counseling sessions and services in the following areas: Behavior Modification Education Programs & Job Training Daily Living & Independent Living Leadership & Mentorship Programs Recovery Groups Our goals at JumpStart University are as follows: To empower people to overcome homelessness and become successful homeowners. To identify, direct and provide individuals with avenues for affordable housing. To provide permanent educational solutions to long term and ongoing housing problems. To provide educational services on matters such as family problems, sexual abuse and health related issues.
