June Noa

June Noa’ is; Soul with a touch of funk and pop. It all started for June Noa when she was a little girl hearing her father play the piano. His great love for Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Percy Sledge and Motown music inspired her to sing and write her own songs. When she teamed up with producer/songwriter Joachim Vermeulen Windsant, June Noa learned more about the craft of songwriting. Sitting down at the piano with Joachim turned her written poems into strong/emotional soulful pop songs. In the mean time she provided backing vocals as a session singer for different genres of music, including pop, dance and rock, which gave her more of an insight on how to use her voice and gave her the studio experience she needed to record her own songs. It all got started with the first song; ‘Why’. This is a happy uptempo track about the simple questions in life. Followed by a very dramatic ‘If I ever leave you’ and 'The show is over'where she tells a story about love and doubts. June Noa writes heartfelt, personal songs, based on everyday emotions we all have to face in life. This makes it real easy to identify with for people off all ages.
