Junkyard Circus

Junkyard Circus debuted at the 2017 Cabaret Kite in December with a duo juggling and acrobatic act by Liam and Matt. Both performers had worked together for three years prior as freelance artists incorporating other performers on and off in regional community events. In 2018, Junkyard Circus expanded to include 6 other performers, and have featured at festivals and corporate events such as the Orange Business Awards, and Bathurst's Catapult: The Youth Circus and Physical Theatre Festival of Australia. Founded on the principles of inclusion and collaboration, their performances are accessible and playful with a stripped back human element. Performers now include Ally, Brit, Emma, and Kiara, who together with Liam and Matt have developed fire performances and hoop diving acrobatics. The group is currently developing as a company, with the creation of a workshop package to tour to regional schools, entertainment for weddings and birthdays, and a cabaret performance planned for the near future.
