Just Get Active has over 25 years of performance coaching and clinical experience and promotes the importance of healthy lifestyle, positive mindfulness and increased physical activity for all members of our community- The Just Get Active team utilise the scientific principles of Health Science, Psychology and Exercise Physiology to formulate and provides 'corrective' health education and training for all individuals, irrespective of ability- Just Get Active caters for both adults & children, individuals and groups, private and commercial and has over 1,300 regularly active members with & without special needs- The JUST GET ACTIVE PRIMARY HEALTH PROGRAM - aims to address the growing number of children contracting preventable illnesses such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, pain and emotional dysfunction/mental illnesses (e.g. anxiety, depression, aggression, apathy, pain and incapacity). We endeavour to ensure our children are developing the ability to function now and in future with balance, confidence and skill, laying the foundations for a healthy, positive and productive life. In order to achieve the most significant long-term health benefits, our Primary Health Program combines physical exercise with positive mindfulness training in a non-competitive, classroom-based environment that both supports and challenges the individual. All children receive detailed and professional instruction to maximize gains and promote healthy life choices. Just Get Active's inclusive program is continuously modified and adapts in response to the growth, maturity and demands of the developing student.
