As a management consultant and typical "street academic" I help companies to create efficient processes, obtain sustainable customer satisfaction and increase overall performance by setting up, implementing and improving (ISO) business management systems. I strongly believe that being certified is not the main aim of ISO; it is a way to move an organisation forward in all areas. Through my years of experience as an auditor for a wide range of organisations, I have learned to quickly identify the most critical business issues. Besides, it has enabled me to learn about the role of leadership, people, management and processes within companies. MY APPROACH To be able to implement a management system successfully, I align people and processes and create a culture of collaboration. From a basis of mutual trust I help managers to deploy high-level organisational goals, while at the same time I inspire employees to develop an improvement mindset. I have built up my expertise in typical no-nonsense industries; here I developed a hands-on mentality as a second nature. People I have worked with appreciate my practical approach and analytical skills. Combined with my curiosity and strong interest in people I can easily see through personalities and put my finger on blind spots in organisations.
