Just Trip is a dynamic travel guide company harnessing the explosive growth in smartphones as the device of choice for travellers. It offers a growing suite of digital guides for gateway cities of the world – accessed via Android, iOS or WeChat apps. The level of detail, themes, useful information and structure of the guides make them suitable for both international and domestic travellers. Just Trip will disrupt the travel guide sector by giving independent travellers the ability to confidently research, plan, explore and book exactly what they choose to see in a new city. During the print era, independent travellers never went anywhere without a Lonely Planet or Rough Guide (or something similar). Just Trip aims to achieve the same indispensable status in the modern, digital world - with a long term goal of 300 - 500 city or town guides. Just Trip’s guides are already available in English and natively translated Mandarin. Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian or Spanish could be next! Just Trip will have both B2C and B2B product offerings: B2C - free, smartphone city guides with incredibly powerful functionality and online bookings B2B - licensing of those city guides (content or functionality or both) to third parties The primary revenue model for the B2C guides is commission share on in-app bookings. And for B2C, monthly licensing fees.
