I AM A: COPYWRITER for my creation 'Just Wright Copy', where I use words to catapult clients into action. TEACHER of English, guiding 14 - 18-year-olds in being their best selves. LIKES: I'm at my happiest when ordering tasty platters in restaurants, riffing with kids in the classroom or vibing with my clients about their exciting ventures. HOW 'JUST WRIGHT' CAME ABOUT: TWO + TWO = FOUR TWO: I've been writing website and sales copy for years. From 2012 to 2021, I wrote the fundraising copy, annual reports and policy documents for the children's charity I founded. When I took a back seat, I found time to immerse myself in my love of writing. I discovered that I missed playing with words for a purpose.+ TWO: There's nothing like 17 years of teaching English to teens to keep you on your creative toes. They're a tough crowd.= FOUR: I launched 'Just Wright' to satisfy my needs: I'm a word nerd. I find joy in fixing other people's prose problems. So now I'm a Melbourne-based freelance copywriter. 🧑🤝🧑I WORK WITH PEOPLE: Primarily business owners, who, if their venture is successful, get to help more people (including animals who are furry people) and the planet (coz we need a home).
