Jvw Program For Football Development

The JVW Girls Football Program, is the largest football program for women in South Africa, co-founded by former Banyana Banyana captain Janine van Wyk and businesswoman Lauren Duncan. The JVW Girls Football Program founded in 2012, to create opportunities for girls of all ages to play in a comfortable and gender-catered environment. To date, the JVW Girls Football Program currently has a team competing at all levels of football for women within the South African Football Association structures – namely the national HollywoodBets Super League, which is the highest division of women’s soccer in South Africa, the provincial Sasol League, the Ekurhuleni Regional League, and the Gauteng Development League. In addition to competitive football, the JVW Girls Football Program also holds a development program within its structure and the JVW Girls School League. The JVW Girls School League is the largest high school league for girls’ football. Launched in 2012, the JVW Girls School League hosts over 160 schools across Gauteng and has over 3200 girls actively competing in the annual league. The JVW Girls Football Program continuously aims to be a trailblazer in South African Women’s Football and afford young girls and female athletes a platform and environment to chase their dreams, aspire for greatness and prepare themselves to compete at international standards.
