K-Go

K-Go is Canada’s first rideshare service for kids ages 5 to 17. Our number one priority is to keep kids safe and provide the means for them to participate, socialize and be present for what’s important. With so many activities and competing family schedules, we aim to bridge the gap between busy parents and active kids, by removing the time and logistics pressures that so many families experience. Our trusted drivers are dedicated to ensuring that your children make it from point A to point B safely and securely, 7 days a week. From Day 1, we thought about how to incorporate safety into everything we do. We have an extensive driver certification and vetting process that includes screening by a 3rd party (driving check, background checks including a vulnerable sector check), car inspections and in-person interviews and training. We prioritize drivers with specialized skills like childcare, first aid and CPR. K-Go is easy to use. You can book a single ride, recurring rides and carpools in the app. Our drivers wear easy to identify K-Go clothing and identification badges and provide a secret code word (that you choose) to your kids as well as a birthdate for extra security upon pick-up. You can provide specific pick-up and drop off notes for your driver so your riders are comfortable and you have peace of mind. When your booking is made and a driver is matched, you’ll be provided with details of your K-Go driver including a photo. To track your child’s progress, you’ll receive a text and email confirming pickup and drop off and you can monitor their ride live in the app. At our head office in Canada, our K-Go Safe Ride Support Agents are monitoring every ride in real-time, assisting our drivers and answering any questions from parents or guardians along the way. K-Go will launch in 2019 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and across Canada soon.
