K-plastics Industries Sdn Bhd was formerly the subsidiary of King Plastic Group, a Singapore-registered company which incorporated in 1986 and was renamed to King Plastic Pte Ltd in 1994. To fulfill the high market demand, the company had ventured its business operations into South East Asia with its first subsidiary being established in Malaysia in 1996, followed by Indonesia in 2011 and Vietnam in 2013. In mid of year 2018, King Plastic and its subsidiaries in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam have merged and become the subsidiary members of Dynapack Asia, Indonesia by virtue of acquisitions. Dynapack Asia currently has 10 companies under its portfolio, with 20 manufacturing plants across 5 countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and China) serving the customers across Asia, providing plastics solutions to a wide variety of segments including consumer packaging, components, and industrial packaging. K-Plastics Industries will be the headquater for the Group's operation in Malaysia. Dynapack Asia strives for achievement in Market Leadership, People Excellence, Product & Service Excellence and Operational Excellence and will continue to develop the capabilities to supply products to local and regional customers, including large multinationals operating throughout Asia with goal to become the leading and preferred plastic and packaging company in Asia.
