K9sensus Foundation

We are an enterprising non profit which serves working dogs by coaching the human end of the leash. We coach the human end of the leash using research-based training and coaching which translates theory into practice, empowering people to truly collaborate with any animal they work with (humans too!) Our executive coaching and corporate retreats are designed to bring a greater sense of purpose and clarity. Whether you desire greater responsibility at work, to become an inspiring leader or to harness your abilities to solve a specific challenge, coaching will bring clarity to your path. Our retreats are located on a 600 A working farm, allowing us to incorporate unique activities for self reflection, team engagement or relaxation. Our coaching and retreat services aid in funding our mission of coaching working dog trainers and handlers. These dogs serve Veterans and keep us safe. We have two specific programs: Back on the Block K9 (BotBK9) empowers a Veteran to return to civilian life by providing a fully trained Service K9. Our program has two equally mission critical components. We offer retreats designed to empower a Veteran and support their families and caregivers. We also provide highly trained service K9’s to Veterans. Both services are provided at no cost to the Veteran. Working K9 Handler Academy provides high quality, interactive classes designed for the continuing education of working K9 handlers or others interested in the field of working K9s.
