Kaaij Nursery is a farming company focussed on cultivating delicious and healthy tomatoes. The passion for cultivating flows through our veins, with more than 30 years’ experience in growing tomatoes. We started off with a few hectares of grape glass houses, since 1990 we completely switched to year-round tomato nurturing. We moved our organisation up North to Berlikum, where we’re still active with around 25 hectares of glasshouses. At Kaaij Nursery, we value being sustainable. We have become more sustainable through the use of LED-lighting in one of our greenhouses. Additionally, we decrease our CO2-emission through using our WKK-Heat Pump. Lastly, recently 850 windows are being replaced by solar panels, to become more sustainable. Everything with the goal of: reaching the perfect taste and quality, for you as the consumer can enjoy the tomatoes cultivated in Berlikum.
