Kaavyana manages the delivery of Capital programmes which includes delivery of master planning. The construction programmes include a number of new builds academic, research and residential developments, and major refurbishments of retained teaching and administration facilities. In addition, significant Infrastructure projects including highways and utilities, to ensure future demands by the client are met. Responsible for significant reconfiguration within the existing estate and relocation of schools and colleges within both retained and new-build facilities, ensuring that disruption is minimised and appropriate mitigation strategies are adopted. Delivered the following Research intensive and Civic mission projects: Cardiff Innovation Campus, Compound Semi-Conductor, Catalysis Institute and SPARK, Budget £200m, due to complete in Aug 2021 Centre for Student Life, Budget £60m, due to be complete March 2021 New building for Computer Sciences and Mathematics, Budget £43m, due to be completed June 2021 Refurbishment of the School of Architecture, Bute Building, Budget £17m, due to be complete summer 2021.
