Kádár Hungary coopers the finest barrels from Central Europe. We source the densest and tightest grained sessile oak in Europe from the Northern Carpathian Mountains with a particular focus on the steep, rocky and cold region of Tokaj. Seasoned by the edge of a native forest for 24 months and more, this oak perfectly matches wines of our new era promoting aromatic complexity, fruit freshness and tension. Kádár Hungary has worked for over six decades to harmonize this unique wood source with natural seasoning and careful toasting to produce a barrel of remarkable aromatic and phenological complexity matched with restraint.
