DG Esports has revealed on their Instagram account in January 2023, that it is with a heavy heart that they have to part ways with DG Esports' AOV, MLBB, Free Fire, CODM, and PUBG MOBILE divisions. After DG Esports withdrew, it turned out that the esports team that had existed for more than 5 years had REVAMPed and turned into a new challenger in the world of esports, presenting with a new look and a new vision and mission. With a new appearance, name, logo, and team, DG Esports has changed to Kagendra. The name change was made because Kagendra is now a new figure who has a stronger vision and mission to lead the development of the esports industry in Indonesia. Kagendra was formed as a form of Telkomsel's commitment through the Dunia Games business unit to support the progress of the esports and gaming industry in Indonesia in an inclusive and sustainable manner. Taking inspiration from Garuda Pancasila symbol of Indonesia, the gold color represents glory & the spreading wings symbolize courage. It’s also facing the right direction as a sign of virtue and truth.
