Kaki Kota

KAKI KOTA is an organization that committed in co-production of knowledge and idea from citizens. KAKI KOTA wishes to work together with communities to generate innovative knowledge and practices to form sustainable cities and regions. We are a non-profit organization based in the Indonesian city of Banjarmasin with focus in urban development and citizen participation in the design and development of cities. We co-produced the knowledge by the citizen, facilitate citizen participation, and collaborate with government to build bridges between government and the citizens. Kakikota is an acronym from “Kampung Kita Kota” or it means “Our village is a city” with a tagline “Urban Creation Space” or in banjarese called “Wadah Seberataan”.
