Kalaayu Collective

Kalāayu is a platform for bridging traditions and innovation in handmade crafts, nurturing cultural connections through sustainable tourism and imparting knowledge on heritage. We offer a curated collection of traditionally crafted and handmade rugs and carpets from different parts of India. The mission is to promote the ancient practices that are often passed down through generations in order to conserve the cultural heritage of the regions they derive from. We also curate sourcing trios as well as cultural experiences to explore India, its cities, architecture, history, food, art, crafts, music, festivals, traditional occupations, etc. in-depth along with experts in respective subjects.
