Kalala Technology (Pty) LTD design, manufacture, implement and operate its patented technologies operating flash milling inside flotation cells to improve the flotation metallurgical performances. We are an innovative company operating in the mineral processing industry. Our patented technology, the "Kalala Mill", is implemented in different size and installed power depending on the flotation cell capacity, type, operating conditions, flotation circuit and applications. This novel technology is easily installed and can be immersed or removed from a flotation cell without interrupting the flotation process. The improved flotation metallurgical performance (recovery and grade) is achieved due to: i) an improved liberation of particles due to the size reduction of particles using ceramic media, ii) the cleaning of particle surfaces due to attritioning, an improve kinetic of flotation since particles are floated as soon as new surfaces are created, iv) the generation of fines bubbles which are favorable for flotation, v) the creation of a new particle collection zone.
