Kansas City exists to improve the conditions for music in Odense. Both through strengthening the creative atmosphere – the process of producing music and creating the most favorable environment for musicians in Odense, upcoming bands and musicians – and through the exposure of these bands and musicians in both the Kansas City Venue and at other venues and collaborators such as the venue Posten, Kulturmaskinen, studenterhuset and many more. The aspiration is to increase awareness; both in and out of Odense, of the cultural and creative potential this city holds and at the same time serve the best conditions for this potential to unfold, so that it does not flee to other cities that promise better opportunities.
