Kappa Map Group (KMG) was founded as Universal Map Enterprises in 1976 and in the years since has acquired other well-known map publishers and created and published one of the largest collections of print maps available in North America. KMG is now the largest and longest publishing family of active map brands in the industry and includes such well-known and trusted map brands ADC (publishing since 1956), American Map (publishing since 1923), Hagstrom (publishing since 1816), and Mapsco (publishing since 1948). Kappa Map Group creates and delivers retail and custom wall maps, road and street atlases and folded maps, and educational maps to consumers and businesses through KMG also distributes these printed maps to retailers nationwide using a dedicated direct store delivery sales force to assure individualized customer service.
