Most dojos around the world are closed due to covid19, but we thought this should not stop you - as a karateka you can train anywhere! Motivated by overwhelmingly positive feedback to Martin’s own in home class, Nadja encouraged Martin to see if they could have a bigger impact and find more people and instructors interested. Within 4 days they had members from 60 countries and a line up of high class senseis - all for free, encouraging donations to the WHO covid19 fund. Our motto: Put on your gi, move some furniture, tune into live sessions, train at home - the world is your dojo. We want to help and stay together in that challenging time. We believe we are karate 🥋 family and we corona! The behavioral guidelines of Karate, the so called Dojo-kun are very indicative how we should act in today`s time: ‘Seek perfection of character, be faithful, endeavor, respect others and remain from violent behavior’
