Karcass

Karcass is based in Toronto, Ontario where all of our pieces are custom and handmade. Our goal is to create raw yet refined works made from old, found and discarded objects and materials. Our wood and metal comes from downtown Toronto, found in gutted homes or on sidewalks. It also comes from the GTA and Peterborough from old barns, fallen trees and from maple skids. We also try our best to stain our products with only water based stains and protect our work with all natural hemp oil and beeswax made in Ontario. With an attempt to keep our work as natural and environmentally conscious as possible, this is part of our goal making original pieces, furniture and when designing spaces.
