Karmaar Crafts

Karmaar Crafts is an initiative taken during the SBI Youth for India Fellowship. It creates an alternative source of livelihood for rural women of Odisha. It promotes modern designs using traditional bamboo weaving techniques with a vision to empower and employ women artisans of Odisha, India. We generate market opportunities for women artisans and possibilities for them to have access to healthy income, making them financially independent to break the cycle of gender inequality and poverty.
