Kart Projects Architecture

Kart is the Melbourne based architecture studio of Martin Musiatowicz and Karen Fermo. We believe that architecture and design is for everyone and should be responsive to environment, community and context. With each project we see the underlying conditions, design brief and constraints as catalysts for creative opportunities; approaching each project in a considered and holistic way. Our projects are built on strong relationships and open communication, working collaboratively with our clients, contractors, consultants and within the studio. We understand the role of architects as leaders in the design process ‹ integrating great design ideas with pragmatic realities. Alongside our architectural projects, which include residential, interior and community projects, Kart explores the culture of architecture and contemporary design issues through exhibitions, writing and as educators at RMIT and Swinburne universities.
