Karyon Therapuetics

Karyon Therapeutics is a discovery stage biopharmaceutical company founded by 4 renowned Professors from Harvard Medical School who are experts in transcription factors (TFs) that play key roles in cancer, inflammation and angiogenesis. The company is focused on the identification and optimization of small molecules that selectively target and disrupt the interaction interface between TFs and the cognate DNA sequences to which they bind. Building on data that this interface can be molecularly targeted, Karyon is using its integrated in silico, and target specific in vitro and in vivo discovery platform to develop small molecules that target and bind within localized “Hotspots” disrupting the DNA-TF interaction interface. Karyon will leverage its founder expertise and powerful discovery engine to discover and develop new chemical entities (NCEs) that target and modulate TFs critical in cancer, and diseases associated with inflammation and angiogenesis.
