Kāshi Vidhyāpētha Centre for Education Research and Innovation’ or simply Kashi Vidhyapeetha, works on developing cutting edge education solutions for Indian languages, particularly for students with special needs. The choice of term ‘Kāshi vidhyāpētha echoes the ideas of the most ancient learning centres of India, Varanasi. Kāshi means radiance and vidhyāpētha means educational institution. We are also a centre for innovation and research in education where we create solutions in delivering education content better and accessible to all kids in a sensible way. Our solutions are grounded in research and we like scaling things for a better society. We work with students, teachers, parents, schools and Government bodies keeping the top-down policy instrument grounded in bottom-up informed development outlook.
