The KATA school provides a forum for all those who are interested in the practice of Improvement Kata / Coaching Kata, so we can achieve greater things by working together. The Improvement Kata is a process of deliberate practice to develop a culture of innovation and improvement through scientific thinking. The generic scientific principles of the Improvement Kata and Coaching Kata were distilled by Mike Rother from the University of Michigan, after observing how Toyota practiced innovation and continuous improvement over many years. These principles are now being practiced in Manufacturing, Hospitals, Service Companies and Schools throughout the world. Our Kata school was the second school in the world after Germany.
